Can I enroll in ecopsychology courses if I am not taking the certificate program?
June 15, 2011
Most ecopsychology courses are offered through the Center for Community Engagement and are open to any community members who meet the course prerequisite requirements. Students must take Environmental Identity and Ecological Self (CPSY 501) before any other ecopsychology courses.
Current Lewis & Clark degree-seeking students who have met stated pre- or co-requisites are also eligible to take certificate courses. If degree students have not met pre- or co-requisites for any ecopsychology course, they can petition to the certificate coordinator for permission to take the course; students will need to demonstrate that they have the appropriate professional knowledge to take the class.
