2011 - 2012 Holiday Schedule
Friday, July 22, 2011
Dear Members of the Lewis & Clark Community,
The holiday schedule, issued during this time each year, includes the week‐long Winter Break, from Friday, December 23, 2011 through Monday, January 2, 2012. These days off allow the members of our community to have a break between semesters to enjoy the holidays in the company of family and friends.
Some departments will need to maintain essential services during this time. It is important for supervisors to plan and communicate this carefully to the staff members who will be required to work during this period. You will receive a memo from Human Resources describing overtime implications in requiring employees to work during a holiday, and I encourage you to coordinate your staffing as appropriate.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment to Lewis & Clark and your dedicated work on behalf of our students.
Best regards,
Barry
