Slideshow: Facilities Services tackles campus renovation projects

Facilities Services has entered its peak season for repairs and improvements to the campus environment.

“Every year, Facilities Services completes capital projects to enhance livability, safety, and beauty, and preserve the college’s investment in the campus infrastructure,” said Planning Specialist Denise King.

In addition to managing a busy summer maintenance schedule, Facilities Services is also tackling several projects to help the College of Arts and Sciences prepare for the large incoming class of first-year students, which has approximately 100 more students than last year’s class.

BoDine and Olin: Renovations are being done to research facilities to accommodate new faculty in biology, geology, and physics, including upgrades in the chemistry stockroom and basement teaching lab.
