Visiting Adjunct Sculpture Professor James Harrison has been a welcome addition to the Art Department faculty. Check out some of his work in and around Portland.

September 30
 Professor Harrison will show drawings for a sculpture to be build for Harper’s playground project in North Portland. At Disjecta 8371 N Interstate.

October 13

Professor Harrison will be in Seattle as Vulcan Real Estate and Meta Arte celebrate the Public Art of the South Lake Union district of Seattle. Prof Harrison’s sculpture ‘Baladeuse’ was commissioned by Vulcan in 2006.

October 28
Professor Harrison will present his work to the Lewis and Clark arts community, 5pm Miller Hall 105

Oct 31
On the ‘Tour of Untimely Departures’, Professor Harrison will inhabit the role of Dr. James A Chapman, resident of Lone Fir Cemetery of Block 7M Lot 35 Grave 3 South, and widely considered one of the worst mayors in Portland history. 

Nov 8 6pm
‘The Earth Is Not Up To Code’
Prof Harrison presents a systematic review of geologic transgression.
At the Hand Eye Supply Curiosity Club, Portland.

And, as is natural, Prof Harrison will continue in his role as a Capo for the Timbers Army.
