Lewis & Clark

Employee Referral Winner!

Human Resources recently drew the name of the winner of the quarterly  drawing in our employee referral program. The lucky winner was Ronna  Newsom, Executive Assistant to Greg Volk. Ronna won a $25 gift certificate to Manzana Restaurant, a local eatery in Lake Oswego. Congratulations Ronna!

How does the Employee Referral program work? There are two ways employees can benefit.

Human Resources pays L&C employees a $300 bonus for referring qualified applicants who are hired and remain in any staff position for six months. The bonus shows up as additional pay in the paycheck at the end of the month in which the referred employee completes six months in the original position. Additionally, the referrals submitted are kept in HR for a quarterly drawing for the restaurant gift certificates.

You will find the referral forms on the HR web page, under the Employee Resources and Information/Referral Program link, or click here:

http://www.lclark.edu/offices/human_resources/employee_resources/referral_program/.

When a friend, neighbor, or relative has applied for a staff position for which s/he is qualified, the form must be received in HR before the position closes to applicants. Get those referrals in early to avoid being disqualified, and thanks so much for recommending Lewis & Clark as a great place to work!
