Balmer Back in Class

“We taught in some rough spots in the old days, but I can’t recall a single day I didn’t enjoy teaching,” said Donald Balmer, U.G. Dubach Professor Emeritus of Political Science, at the dedication of a classroom in his honor in Howard Hall on April 11.

At the same event, the College recommissioned classrooms in Howard Hall honoring the legacies of three distinguished professors: Benjamin Thaxter, T.J. Edmonds, and Arthur Throckmorton. Guest speakers included U.S. Representative Earl Blumenauer ‘70, JD ‘76 and Sheila Greenlaw-Fink ‘82, M.P.A. ‘84.
