A Different Perspective: A Film Series on Diversity, Jan. 22 at 4 p.m.

A film, popcorn, and good conversation… These are the makings of an ideal Sunday afternoon.

The Law School’s Diversity Work Group (DWG) is hosting its first spring film series.  The DWG hopes to use film to encourage constructive and reflective dialogue on our campus about issues of difference, identity, and inclusion. Students, staff, faculty, and their guests from all three campuses are welcome!

Film: A Class Apart (2010)

Date: January 22, 4:00pm Location: Erskine B. Wood Hall, Room 7

This film documents how a landmark civil rights case emerged from a small-town Texas murder. The little-known story of the Mexican American lawyers who took Hernandez v. Texas to the Supreme Court, challenging Jim Crow-style discrimination. Read More This is the first in our three-part film series.
