Huntington Fellowship to Susanna Morrill

Susanna Morrill has been awarded a fellowship to support research on her project, “Protestant Women’s Birth and Death Rituals, 1780- 1920.”

Susanna Morrill, Associate Professor of Religious Studies, has been awarded a one month fellowship at the Huntington Library. Located in San Marino, California, the Huntington has holdings in British and American history, literature, art history, and the history of science and medicine. Its collections include seven million manuscripts, 410,000 rare books, 270,000 reference works, and 1.3 million photographs, prints, and ephemera. While in residence at the Huntington, Susanna will work on her project, “Protestant Women’s Birth and Death Rituals, 1780- 1920.” This fellowship comes with a $3,000 award.
