Kugler’s unique skills as a scholar of early Judaism combined with his competency in juridical papyrology will allow him to work side-by-side with scholars of papyrology to inspect and interpret legal documents from Hellenistic Egypt. This work will result in a commentary on the texts, which will provide scholars of early Judaism a significant body of evidence to which they would not otherwise have access.
