On April 19 come to the last Common Hour of the year!
April 13, 2012
It’s the last Common Hour of the year! Will you be there? Thursday, April 19 at 3:30 p.m. in the Trail Room, join fellow staff, students and faculty to reflect on the year, ask and answer questions, and enjoy some coffee, tea and cookies.
Please note, this replaces the previously-scheduled April 25 Common Hour, to avoid schedule conflicts during the last week of classes. Come for the April 19 Common Hour to celebrate and discuss!
We’ll be discussing one of the hot themes of this year: how do we encourage and teach independence at Lewis & Clark? How do we talk about empowering students, and how do students experience this? We’ve invited special guest Kelly Hoover, Director of Campus Living, to help us get some perspective on the power of residential life. We will also take a look at some of the “State of the School” topics from the April 13 PioLog, which mirror many of the discussions at Common Hour this year.
As always, the Common Hour is also a place where you can bring any topic or question of interest to you. Tell your friends, tell your co-workers, and come to Common Hour! We can’t wait to see you there.
