French professor invited to National Endowment for the Humanities seminar

Philippe Brand, visiting assistant professor of French, has been invited to participate in a five-week National Endowment for the Humanities seminar.
The Paris-based seminar will include weekly meetings at the Institut d’Histoire du Temps Présent (IHTP) as well as excursions to the national museum of World War I and monuments commemorating the French experience during World War II. Brand specializes in 20th- and 21st-century French and Francophone literature and culture, and the seminar is relevant to both his research and teaching.
