Lawn renovation to mimic Frank Manor estate circa 1920s

This terraced lawn on Lewis & Clark’s undergraduate campus is being renovated and restored to its original glory. 

From old photographs, the design and plant material has been selected to mimic the original planting and visual appearance of the estate from the late 1920’s. 

This landscape renovation is scheduled to be completed in August 2012.  Please enjoy one of our many other lawns as this one will be closed until completion.
