Men’s Basketball

The Lewis & Clark men’s basketball team landed a berth in the Northwest Conference Tournament for the fourth consecutive time after finishing the regular season 13-12 overall and 9-7 in conference play. Over the years, the Pioneers have advanced to the NWC Tournament 14 times, but this was the team’s first trip under new head coach Dinari Foreman. Junior guard James Hollins, who scored his 1,000th career point during the course of the season, was named to the NWC All-Conference First Team for his contributions to the team during the season. Seniors Marcus Wells and PJ Taylor each earned a spot on the NWC Honorable Mention list.

Swimming

The Lewis & Clark men’s and women’s swim teams wrapped up the season at the Northwest Conference Championships, where the women’s team finished in sixth place and the men took home eighth. First-year Noah Callaghan broke a 35-year-old school record in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:59.82. For the women, sophomore Kayla Ernewein earned NWC All-Conference honors with her third-place finish in the 50 freestyle.
