1948
Laurel Friesen Smith ’48, a retired elementary school librarian, volunteers in the reference section of her local public library and established a library in her Sun City Summerlin, Nevada, church.
1949
Alice Asmar ’49 is a painter, engraver, and artist in other media. Her works appear in hundreds of collections, including those of the Smithsonian Institution. View her art atwww.picassomio.com or www.rogallery.com.
Albert “Al” Combs ’49 worked in federal law enforcement for 34 years and was a supervisor in Michigan and New York state before retirement. He enjoys visiting family and friends in Seattle and Portland.
