Lewis & Clark

How do I to edit page titles?

To edit a page title, go to the page you want changed and click the “Edit this Page” link in the top blue bar.  (If you do not see it, you are not yet logged into LiveWhale and you can click “edit this page” in the bottom right of the page to go to login.)

The page-editing Tool Bar appears, and you can click on the right side the link: “edit page title.”

Clicking it opens the “page title” window.  Here you can add the title you want or edit the existing one.

You will also notice some special text:

%%page_title%%

This is a little code that dynamically adds your group or office name, your school, and “Lewis & Clark” to the title.  This is important for search engines to find your content, so you do not want to alter that.

Simply add your text in front of that code.

Next, hit “use this title” to save your new title.  Then click the “Save Changes” button to publish your page again.

(Note: as always, you may need to reload your browser to see the changes.)
