New Symantec Anti-Virus!

The product formerly known as “SAV” has been re-named to “SEP,” Symantec Endpoint Protection.  In addition to providing protection from viruses, the product now includes spyware and malware protection. 

Spyware and malware are programs that are installed on your computer without your knowledge and typically attempt to consume your system’s resources in order to propagate themselves.  These programs also may attempt to gather PII (personally identifiable information) from your system.

IT encourages all current students, faculty, and staff to install the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection!

Faculty and Staff,  please note that SEP is not available for your personal machines, only for institutional computers.
