NCVLI Hosts Domestic Violence Awareness Month Event

On October 31, 2012 NCVLI hosted Trauma and the Brain, a presentation by Dr. Chris Wilson, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  The event was co-sponsored by the Crime Victims’ Rights Alliance student group at Lewis & Clark Law School and the Center for Animal Law Studies at Lewis & Clark, in collaboration with the Animal Legal Defense Fund.  More than 50 law students and community members attended the event on campus and more than 15 different offices around the country - from Arizona to Texas - signed on to participate via live streaming.
