Having won its first 11 games this season, the Lewis & Clark women’s basketball team has moved up to fifth in the nation in the D3hoops.com Women’s Top-25 Week Five poll.

The ranking is the Pioneers’ highest in program history and marks the first time Lewis & Clark has ranked higher than Northwest Conference rival George Fox. Lewis & Clark beat George Fox for the first time in seven tries on Monday, December 31.

The Pioneers return to action on Friday, January 4, at home against Whitman.
