Lend a Hand to At-Risk Youth!

Open Meadow seeks to aid high school freshmen and sophomores that are falling behind in their education, not connecting with the Portland Public School system, and have been deemed “high risk” of dropping out.

Open Meadow seeks to aid high school freshmen and sophomores that are falling behind in their education, not connecting with the Portland Public School system, and have been deemed “high risk” of dropping out. Your involvement as an after-school tutor and mentor will give these students a more personalized, engaging, and fun educational experience, and will help them catch up and get ahead in their classes thus encouraging them to stay in school. Program takes place on Thursdays from 2:30-6pm. For inquiries contact Mimi at mngokion@lclark.edu.
