The Law School to Welcome Delegation from South Korea

Faculty and students from Kangwon National University will visit and attend environmental law classes on January 28 – February 1, 2013.

For the second consecutive year, Lewis & Clark Law School will host a delegation from Kangwon National University in South Korea on January 28 – February 1, 2013.  The delegation includes two faculty, Professor Siwon Park and Professor Sungja Cho, and eight of their top students. The group will attend environmental law class and experience the best of life in the Pacific Northwest. Professor Aubrey Baldwin, who taught over the summer at Kangwon, and the Environmental & Natural Resource Program have spearheaded this visit.

Dean Klonoff, on behalf of the Law School, signed a Memoranda of Understanding with Kangwon in 2012 and will continue to coordinate collaborations, exchanges, and visits to enrich the the teaching, research, and campus life at both institutions.
