Leading the Way
February 11, 2013
President Barry Glassner has been busy building partnerships, communicating his ideas and plans, and strengthening ties with alumni and friends across the globe.
Appearing in national media outlets from USA Today to the Los Angeles Times and Washington Post, Glassner’s commentaries tackle some of the biggest issues of the day in higher education and beyond. In his most recent pieces, Glassner emphasizes the importance of international education and—in partnership with Northwestern University’s president, Morton Shapiro—reflects on the challenges and rewards of being a modern-day leader in The Chronicle of Higher Education.
