Three Lewis & Clark College Students from Rwanda Participate in the Lake Oswego Reads Program.
On Saturday February 16, Matthew Rugamba, Guellord Ndagijimana, and Emmanuel Habimana shared their stories and discussed their plans for the future at the Lake Oswego Library. http://www.ci.oswego.or.us/loreads
Following the panel, Nike Foundation employee Teresa Schader spoke about the girl effect - the unique potential of adolescent girls to end poverty for themselves and the world - and in particular, exciting work that is unleashing the girl effect in Rwanda.
