1960

Class Correspondent: Roger Adams 
Dolores Willey Chenoweth BA loves to travel and recently visited India and Nepal. She’s also visited New York City during key historical moments, including the terrorist attacks in 2001 and Hurricane Sandy in fall 2012. She lives in Northwest Portland and when not traveling or volunteering, she devotes her time to her four grandchildren.

Peter Feldenheimer B.S. is active in estate planning and provides pension plans for the NFL and the National Association of Realtors. He also participates in masters racing with the U.S. Ski Association. Feldenheimer gets to Portland about once a year and finds it “hard to believe that 52 years have passed.”

Donna Fields Rochon BS married John Moore on December 26, 2012, in Bellingham, Washington. Both are retired Western Washington University faculty members. Donna was formerly married to Donald Rochon BS ’60, who passed away in 2011.

Jim Stell BS retired as a principal in the North Clackamas School District. He then became a hotel concierge at the Double Tree Lloyd Center in Portland. Jim and his wife, Nita, live in West Linn, Oregon, and are the proud grandparents of Peyton and Brady.

1962

John Marandas BS majored in political science, which motivated him to enter the practice of law 46 years ago. He worked as an assistant to Oregon Attorneys General Robert Thornton and Lee Johnson, followed by private law practice in Portland. He also served as a pro tempore circuit court judge in Multnomah County for 10 years. His wife, Louise Marandas, received her master’s degree in school psychology from Lewis & Clark in 1995.

Diana Fields Nelson BS is a master gardener and an elder at Moreland Presbyterian Church in Southeast Portland. After earning a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Portland, she worked as a school psychologist for the Portland Public Schools and as a program director for the Volunteer Center (now Hands On Greater Portland). She and her husband, Dick Nelson BS ’61, live in Milwaukie, Oregon, and have two sons and four grandchildren. Diana has served on Lewis & Clark’s Board of Alumni.

Albert Menashe JD was named one of Oregon’s 2012 top 10 attorneys in Super Lawyers Magazine. He is a retired shareholder with Gevurtz Menashe.

1966

Richard Bach JD practiced environmental law at Stoel Rives for 30 years. Although he’s well aware that the world may not need another lawyer-turned-author, he has joined a number of his colleagues in fiction writing. His debut novel, Common Enemy, is the first in a series of romantic thrillers. It is available for download on his website.
