Sellwood Bridge traffic alerts

• Hwy. 43 Lane Closures: The outside southbound lane of Hwy. 43 remains closed weekdays (except from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.) between SW Taylors Ferry Road and the project limits south of the bridge while the contractor excavates the hillside west of the highway. On work days the contractor also closes a northbound lane from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. between the bridge and Freeman Motors.
• Eastside Concrete Pour July 15: Truck deliveries are scheduled Monday, July 15 for a concrete pour at Bent 6 on the east bank. The pour will require concrete truck deliveries entering from Spokane St. and Oaks Park Way over an eight hour period starting in the morning. Flaggers will direct traffic to ensure local access is maintained. 
• Westside Trail Detour: The westside trail is closed during replacement of the Stephens Creek culvert. The posted detour between Macadam Bay and Willamette Park follows the east sidewalk of SW Macadam Ave. north to SW Nevada St., where it turns right to rejoin the trail in Willamette Park. 
• Miles Street Temporary Parking Change:  In order for heavy equipment to be brought in, some on street parking spaces will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on SW Miles Street and SW Miles Place on days of equipment deliveries only.  Signs will go up next week noting the parking spaces and no parking dates. The tentative schedule is for equipment to arrive on July 18 – 19.
