1952
James “Jim” Paul BA is cofounder and president of the Academy of Music Northwest, a nonprofit preparatory school for young musicians interested in professional careers in music. Now in its 17th year, the academy has an enrollment of 100 students. Paul received his D.MA in historical performance practice from the University of Washington. He’s active in choral activities and teaches music history and literature. He lives in Edmonds, Washington, with his wife, Dee.
