Dear L&C community,
With support from the Strategic Initiative Fund, LC Kids and Families is launching a project to study the feasibility of developing and operating a high-quality on-site child development center to serve children of faculty, staff, and students.
Program details include:
- Innovative care and education setting for infants through pre-kindergarten age
- Staffed by experienced early childhood educators with college degrees
- Open Monday – Friday, with closures for holidays and in-service
- Full-time and part-time care (Part-time dependent on two families splitting a full-time slot)
- Operating budget based on parent fees
“As a mother of two, I am dedicated to figuring out how to make a child care center at L&C possible. It would be a great benefit not just to families with young children but to the community as a whole.”Assistant Professor of Sociology Sarah Warren
The cornerstone of the study is this survey—your input is critical to the success of this project. We are hoping for 100% participation! The survey closes November 15.
The survey* typically takes 2-3 minutes or less to complete. Please take the time right now to offer your input on this important issue.
Sincerely,
