Kimberley King moved to Bend, Oregon in 1977. She married, divorced and raised two boys while working at a wild variety of part time and freelance jobs. In the 1990’s she became a professional storyteller, worked as an artist in residence in the schools and together with her friend Debra Fisher, was a founding director of Arts of Passage; a multi-media arts program for at-risk kids. Today she has a day job; but is still reading and writing, making music and telling stories.
