Sustainability @ LC: Education, Resources, and Incentives
January 22, 2014
The Lewis & Clark Sustainability Council (LCSC) works to integrate sustainability into the life of the three Lewis & Clark schools. Doing so helps to develop cross-school collaborations, broadens our relationships with organizations in the greater Portland area, promotes student learning through hands-on work, and effectively communicates Lewis and Clark’s commitment to sustainability. This year, the LCSC intends to develop a Sustainability Incentives program aimed at achieving various sustainability-related objectives through rewarding individual actions that advance institutional priorities. This interactive session will provide educational resources and describe upcoming incentives for the following:
• Transportation Options
• Purchasing & Resource Use
• Energy Efficiency
• Cross Community Engagement & Support
