Solange Teles da Silva earned her PhD in Environmental Law at Paris I University. Solange is Professor of Environmental Law and Sustainable Law at Mackenzie Presbyterian University in Sao Paul, Brazil. She is the coordinator of the Research Project “Law and Sustainable Development: forest and water protection in the Amazon Region considering climate change.” Solange has a Research Productivity Scholarship, National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). She is also International Director of “Lawyers for a Green Planet” (Brazilian NGO) and a member of the Research Committee of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law.
