Depinder Kapur delivers his speech, PPP Denominated Water Privatization in Delhi: Unpacking the Efficiency, Competition, and Equity Arguments, at the Realizing the Goal of Water for Life: Lessons from Around the World conference at NLU Delhi, India.

Depinder Kapur is an independent consultant, Trustee of India WASH Forum, and a member of the Water Privatisation Commercialisation Resistance Committee. He provides strategic knowledge networking leadership as Convener of the National Coordination Mechanism of Global Sanitation Fund Programme in India. He was the India Country Representative for WaterAid (2003-08), part of the International and Asia level WaterAid Strategic Management Team providing leadership to the development of national, regional and international strategies and systems. In the past he has worked on strategic level positions at Oxfam India (Director, Programme and Advocacy), CARE (Director, Agriculture and Natural Resources) and SPWD. He is a Member of the Government of India’s 12th Five Year Plan Working Group on Water and Sanitation, constituted by Planning Commission.
