Kris Soebroto, cafe co-manager and development co-manager, and Cate Turner, '16, get ready to serve up some delicious plums from the Lewis & Clark organic gardens at the Sisters of the Road cafe.

This summer, the Lewis & Clark Garden Collective chose to donate produce to homeless shelters in downtown Portland. The Lewis & Clark Garden Collective is a student-run organization that grows organic produce. This summer, they have worked with Sisters of the Road cafe to provide thoughtfully sourced food. The Garden Collective is excited to make more produce deliveries and to expand their relationships with Portland shelters.

Located in downtown Portland, Sisters of the Road cafe has been providing a safe, inclusive community space and nourishing meals since 1979. Learn more and get involved at http://sistersoftheroad.org.
