Associate VP for Public Affairs and Communications Tom Krattenmaker is off to Yale

Tom Krattenmaker, associate vice president for Public Affairs and Communications, has accepted the position of director of communications at Yale Divinity School. 

Tom Krattenmaker, associate vice president for Public Affairs and Communications, has accepted the position of director of communications at Yale Divinity School. He will leave Lewis & Clark in mid-October.

In addition to his leadership of PubCom, Krattenmaker is an award-winning writer in the sphere of religion and public life. His position at Yale will draw on his broad talents.

Krattenmaker joined Lewis & Clark in 2006 and has spent the past eight years building relationships and enhancing the image of the entire institution. He arrived just as Lewis & Clark embarked on its first-ever strategic communications planning process. Krattenmaker led the initiative involving the board of trustees, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends.

“Tom has been a positive, thoughtful, creative leader on our campus, and he will be missed,” Dean for Enrollment and Communications Lisa Meyer said.

Previously Krattenmaker worked at Swarthmore College and Princeton University.
