In the spring, multiple Lewis & Clark athletic teams made impressive strides forward with several athletes earning Northwest Conference All-Conference honors.

Hannah Dal Pra Hannah Dal Pra

The softball team had five athletes make the list, including second-team honorees Hannah Dal Pra CAS ’16, Madison Hollenbeck CAS ’15, and Lindsay Yearman CAS ’17; baseball had two: Corey Davis CAS ’14 and Tommy Massari CAS ’18. Both tennis teams had two athletes each make All-Conference: Claudia Lew CAS ’16 and Olivia Sweetman CAS ’14 for the women, and Michael Brewer CAS ’17 and Kevin Ross CAS ’17 for the men. In addition, the men’s tennis team earned a spot in the Northwest Conference Tournament.

Emily Thompson Emily Thompson

In women’s golf, Claire Burke CAS ’17 earned All-Conference honors, a first for the team in recent years. Meanwhile, three track athletes—Emily Fagan CAS ’14, Alexi Provost-Sheen CAS ’15, and Emily Thompson CAS ’16—made it to the podium at the Northwest Conference Track and Field Championships. Women’s crew finished third at the Northwest Collegiate Rowing Conference Championships, the best the team has done as a whole since 2006.

New Faces in Athletics

Jordan JordanAsha Jordan was named Lewis & Clark’s head women’s basketball coach in August. A veteran of Division III athletics, Jordan was a former player and assistant coach at Occidental College.

McCauley McCauleyKayleigh McCauley was named coordinator of student-athlete academic support in June. McCauley will oversee the academic progress of more than 350 student-athletes and provide guidance for the Student-Athlete Mentor Program.
