Annual Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Cash/Coin Drive Challenge 2/20-2/21

Each year, as a part of a Student Athlete Advisory Committee initiative, all schools in the Northwest Conference take part in a “Cash/Coin Drive Challenge.”

Dear Lewis & Clark Faculty & Staff:

Each year, as a part of a Student Athlete Advisory Committee initiative, all schools in the Northwest Conference take part in a “Cash/Coin Drive Challenge.”  This challenge is a competition between every school to see who can raise the most money over a 48-hour period to donate to the charity of their choice. On February 20th and 21st, 2015 the Lewis & Clark SAAC will be canvassing campus as part of this challenge.  SAAC will be donating the proceeds from the effort to Special Olympics Oregon. Over the past four years Lewis & Clark SAAC was named NWC Fundraiser of the Year Award three times. We are incredibly proud of the contributions we’ve made to Special Olympics over the last few years totaling almost $20,000. This 48-hour period stands as a significant component of these total contributions.

This year there will be donuts and coffee to start your Friday off on a sweet note, at lunch there will be hot dogs, and  continuing that day student-athletes will be around campus in team gear collecting donations. Additionally we will be holding a silent auction and raffle at the women’s and men’s basketball games on Saturday at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. in Pamplin. Please consider contributing in any way that you can throughout these two days. If you would like to donate, but have no cash or coins on you; there will be a “gofundme” account open during the 48 hour period. Watch for another email Friday morning with a link to the account. A simple donation can go a long way.

Thank you in advance for your support and participation!
