The fall exhibition at the Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery, Broadcast, appears in the Critics’ Picks section of the international art magazine Artforum.
The review calls attention to the ways in which artists featured in Broadcast confront official channels of transmission: “Whether attempts to engage with mainstream media are hostile, indifferent, judgmental, passive, or proactive…the strategies employed say much about the political potential of art but also about each artist’s proclivity for confrontation.”
