A Lewis & Clark initiative supported by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute is increasing Oregon students’ access to science.
The collaborative research program took Lewis & Clark students and faculty members, along with a group of Portland-area high school students, to Mitchell, Oregon, over the summer to conduct geological field research.
In this video, participants explain how the research experience builds community and inspires the next generation of scientists.
