The Northwest Indian Storyteller’s Festival, featured in Indian Country Today, is just one of many events happening on campus this month to honor Native American and Alaskan Native Heritage Month.

The festival, which takes place on campus November 13-15, is devoted to fostering education and interaction between master tribal storytellers, those looking to refine their skills, and everyone interested in the traditional tribal culture of the Northwest. The three-day festival includes performances, workshops, and a symposium. Learn more about the festival and register online.

Following the Storyteller’s Festival, Lewis & Clark will also host two events with filmmaker and alumna Sandra Osawa.
