Comings and Goings: Please welcome Kimberly Bernick, director of communications at the graduate school

Last month, Kimberly Bernick joined the graduate school as the new director of communications.

Most recently, Bernick served as the chief marketing and communications officer for the UC Davis College of Biological Sciences, where she managed communications for marketing and development campaigns.

“The warm, open, and enthusiastic environment was evident as soon as I set foot on campus during the interview process, and it is a pleasure to join a team of faculty, staff, and students who are so passionate about their work and committed to social justice,” Bernick said. “On a personal note, my family and I are absolutely loving Portland and how beautiful it is here. We are looking forward to exploring the area more in the coming months, so if anyone has suggestions of great things to do here with a 1.5 year old, please let me know!”

Please feel free to contact Bernick with any questions about the graduate school, or just to say hello.
