Community Corner Brown Bag Series
September 12, 2016
The CARE Committee is pleased to announce its newest venue for meeting your colleagues and learning about what’s happening across campus: Community Corner!
It’s a monthly brown bag discussion held on the second Tuesday of every month from noon to 1p.m. at a reserved table in the Trail Room near the stage area.
Community Corner offers a common space for people to get face time with community members from various offices/departments.
Feel free to eat your lunch and enjoy some conversation with the following groups:
Tuesday, April 11
Overview of Institutional Research: Renee Orlick, Associate Director of Institutional Research & Planning, and Penny Beckwith, Graduate Assistant
Exploring Your Ombuds Office Services: Valerie Craigwell White, Ombudsperson
Tuesday, May 9
Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement, and You: Building and sustaining a truly inclusive campus community is the work of all of us. At Lewis & Clark, the Department of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement is here to support in this endeavor. IME Director Nathan Baptiste will lead this discussion.
Depending on the popularity of the Community Corner series, the CARE Committee will also begin to schedule brown bag discussions every other month at the graduate and law schools.
