Jessica Odom - Information Security Officer

Jessica is responsible for developing, administering, and maintaining the College’s Information Security Plan.  The plan is a collection of policies, procedures, and industry best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the College’s systems, network, and workstations.  As well, she is charged with raising the LC community’s security awareness and works in conjuction with Client Services to meet that need.

Jessica is a 4th generation native Oregonian, graduated with a BA in English from Willamette University, and holds two security certifications required by the US Department of Defense for information security:  GIAC GSEC [Sans Institute] and CISSP [ISC2].

She has worked in the IT profession for 13 years beginning as a lab assistant, then on to network and systems administrator before becoming LC’s Information Security Officer.
