On April 24, Heyke Kirkendall-Baker will join the Lewis & Clark community as the Associate Vice President for Human Resources.

“We are very excited to have Heyke join our team here at Lewis & Clark,” Vice President for Business and Finance Alan Finn said. “Her experience, spirit, and positive energy will be a strong asset for our community.”

An alumna of Lewis & Clark Law School, Kirkendall-Baker most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Equity at Concordia University. She has more than fifteen years of experience as a senior-level professional in corporate business, public service, and nonprofit organizations. She has an accomplished management career, which includes human resource management and legal compliance, leadership development, training, employee relations, change management, and increased productivity. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for excellence in effective management.

“She is very enthusiastic about employee engagement and training,” Finn added. “She has made some very impactful positive changes everywhere she has worked. It is also great that her law degree was from our Law School so she is returning home.”

“I selected Lewis & Clark Law School as a student for several reasons, including academic reputation, class size, and rankings,” Kirkendall-Baker said. “I graduated, however, with a heartfelt feeling that I was a member of the L&C community. Now, I have an amazing opportunity to join the community again as a member of the L&C family, and I am absolutely thrilled.”
