Transportation and Parking Changes for 2017-18
April 25, 2017
Several changes are in the works for Transportation and Parking for fall semester 2017. These changes are due to policy or programmatic changes recommended by the Transportation & Parking Advisory Committee (TPAC) which works to manage our transportation resources across the three schools.
- The Park & Ride lot in Hillsdale has been discontinued due to lack of demand. Resources dedicated to this route will be utilized elsewhere – either in expanding Trimet subsidies or shuttle service. These opportunities will be furthered assessed during summer session 2017.
- The institution is now required to pay for St. Mark’s parking lot. A permit for this lot will be required beginning fall semester 2017 and will be approximately half the cost of on-campus permits. More information about this change will be available after contract negotiations are complete.
- A residential permit is now required for all students living in the residence halls. This permit is only valid in designated residential lots during permit required times (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.). These permits will be limited, see purchase dates here.
- A third-party managed bike share program will begin on the CAS campus in August 2017. Please visit this website for more details later this summer.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a TPAC representative for your school or contact the Transportation & Parking department, 503-768-7857 or email@example.com.
