Spring Main Stage 2018: ANON(YMOUS) by Naomi Iizuka

LEWIS & CLARK THEATRE DEPARTMENT PRESENTS

Spring 2018 Main Stage Play

ANON(YMOUS) by Naomi LIizuka

Guest Director:  Francisco Garcia

SYNOPSIS OF THE PLAY

Anon(ymous) is a contemporary re-imagining of Homer’s Odyssey by Naomi Iizuka. Separated from his mother, a young refugee called Anon journeys through the United States in search of his family, encountering a wide variety of people - some kind, some dangerous, and some cruel. At a time when our country is wrestling with the issue of immigration reform, Anon(ymous) offers a provocative and insightful look at the topic in this compelling theatrical work by one of America’s finest contemporary playwrights.
