Let’s Work Together: Gallup Survey Closes Feb. 2

The Gallup Employee Engagement Survey will close on February 2 – please do not miss your opportunity to participate.

Dear Lewis & Clark Community:

On January 22, Human Resources distributed a voluntary and confidential employee engagement survey, created and administered by Gallup. As of today, we have a 40% participation rate (i.e., 357 of 890 respondents have completed the survey). A huge thank you to those that have already participated!

The leadership of Lewis & Clark wishes to ensure that we create as satisfying and professionally engaging an environment as possible for all employees. To do so, we need to understand how faculty and staff currently feel about their jobs and about Lewis & Clark as an employer. Our survey participation goal is 75%.

This survey will only take about five minutes to respond, and it is only 12-questions. The survey will close on February 2 – please do not miss your opportunity to participate.

Please note: We have heard that some employees may not have received the survey.

On Monday, January 29, Gallup will send a reminder and a link to those that have not yet completed the survey. It is important to note that the survey will come from Gallup–not Lewis & Clark. The subject line is: “A Reminder: Have You Shared Your Opinion Yet?” (please see screenshot below).

If you have not yet completed the survey and you do not receive the reminder on Monday, please search “Gallup” in your google inbox. If you are unable to locate the survey email, please contact Associate Vice President and Director of Human Resources Heyke Kirkendall-Baker (hkirkendall-baker@lclark.edu or 503-768-6239). Additionally, before clicking on the link, please ensure that the email appears exactly as the sample image shows.

Thank you again for your participation.

Heyke Kirkendall-Baker

Vice President and Director of Human Resources
