The Employee Referral Program Winner!

Our most recent winners are Michael Iannantuano in Facilities Services for the December drawing, and Ashley Sloan, in the Graduate School, for the March drawing. Congratulations to both for winning a $25 gift certificate to Manzana’s restaurant in Lake Oswego. This gift certificate is also good for several other area restaurants.

Here are some of the common questions about the Referral program, with their answers:

How much is the bonus?

If the referred employee is hired and remains in the position for 6 months HR will prepare a $300 bonus by the pay date after the completion of the 6 months.

Gift Certificates?

Whether your referred employee is hired or not, you will be eligible for the next quarterly drawing for a $25 restaurant gift certificate.

Who is eligible to receive the bonus?

Any L&C employee is eligible unless he/she is involved in the interview process or will supervise the potential new employee.

Can I refer a person for more than one position?

Absolutely. You can help yourself and us by only referring people to positions for which they meet the minimum qualifications. Each referral increases your chances for the gift certificate drawing. Please complete a referral form for each position for which the potential employee applies.               

What is the deadline?

The referral form (and applicant materials) must be submitted to Human Resources prior to the closing date for the position in question.

What happens if more than one current employee recommends a successful new employee?

If more than one employee refers the finalist, the bonus will be split between the winners.
