Claudia Ramirez wins Tony Ridenour Memorial Award

Congratulations to Claudia Ramirez, this year’s 2010 Troy Ridenour Memorial Award winner.  The Troy Ridenour Memorial Award is given to students of sophomore standing who embody Troy’s values and spirit in his short time at Lewis & Clark College. After being nominated for the award, Claudia sealed her nomination by exemplifying her friendly personality, strong leadership capabilities, academic potential and good sense of humor through three essay questions and an interview.  Claudia’s contributions to Lewis & Clark and her interactions with others warranted her nomination but her friendly nature, determination and strong spirit made her the perfect match for this year’s 2010 Troy Ridenour Memorial Award.  She will be recognized at this year’s honors convocation on Friday, May 7^th from 3:00-4:30pm in the Chapel.
