EASE Is Changing Its Financial Advising Services Model - Effective July 1st

As of July 1, 2010, EASE, our employee assistance provider (EAP), will no longer provide a face-to-face financial advising services benefit and instead will shift to a telephonic model.

EASE had evaluated its financial advising services compared to other national providers with consideration of liability, expense and consistency. The previous financial advising services were not in line with the short term, solution-focused set of services model that all EAPs traditionally provide. This change does not reflect any concern about the professionalism and effectiveness of the financial planners used previously.  The full financial planning services simply do not fit the EAP model.

The new financial advising services will continue to provide consultation on personal and family budgets, credit card debt, options during divorce or foreclosure, mortgage refinancing or referral for investment planning. To access a financial advisor please contact EASE at 800.654.9778 or you can visit them on the Web at www.easeeap.com.
