Michael Peterson BA says, “‘Kaitiaki’ is a Maori word that connotes ownership of the earth. It is a spiritual concept and might translate roughly to ‘gardener’ in the best sense. In that spirit, we’ve just released our website, wikigardens.com–a unique combination of serious gardener/landscaper/geek. Who knows where this will lead, but if you’re a serious gardener, drop by and let us know what you think.”
