Elizabeth Howe BA and John Howe BA enjoyed celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on December 29, 2007, with help from classmates Alice Clawson BS ’56, Art Clawson BS ’56, and Gordon Makinster BS ’56, MA ’61.

Shirley Lynch Peterson BA has retired as president of the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences. After graduating from L&C as a biology major, Peterson earned her M.S. 10 years (and two children) later from the University of Cincinnati. She is now an aqua aerobics instructor and president of the Main Line Quilters Guild. She and her husband, Jerry, also retired, live in Wayne, Pennsylvania–within reasonable distance of their children and grandchildren, who live in New Jersey.
