Sherrer Memorial Lecture: “The Possibilities of Public Conversations in Cultural Institutions”
Professor David Carr from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill will offer the 2010 Johannah Sherrer Memorial Lecture, “Think with Me: The Possibilities of Public Conversations in Cultural Institutions.” Carr’s lecture will address the roles of libraries in contemporary American culture. A reception will follow in Albany Quadrangle, room 218.
The Johannah Sherrer Memorial Lecture was established in 1999 to honor the memory of the former director of Watzek Library. For further information, please visit the library’s website.
